Account Information

When you register for a QuantVerify account, we collect your name, email address, company name, phone number, and billing information.

Verification Data

When consumers scan QR codes, we collect scan location (approximate), device type, browser information, and timestamp. This data is used for clone detection and analytics purposes.

Usage Data

We automatically collect information about how you interact with our platform, including pages visited, features used, API calls made, and performance metrics.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and maintain our anti-counterfeit verification services
  • To detect and prevent counterfeit activity through our Sentinel Detection System
  • To generate analytics and reports for our customers
  • To communicate with you about your account and service updates
  • To improve and optimize our platform

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, audit logging, and regular security assessments. Our infrastructure is hosted on enterprise-grade cloud services with multi-region redundancy.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for the duration of your active subscription and for a reasonable period thereafter for legal and business purposes. Verification scan data is retained in accordance with our data retention policies and applicable regulatory requirements. You may request deletion of your data at any time.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with trusted service providers who assist in operating our platform (cloud hosting, email delivery), and when required by law or to protect our legal rights. Verification data is shared only with the brand owner whose product was scanned.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Request deletion of your personal data

9. India — Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDP Act)

QuantACK Networks Pvt. Ltd. is committed to compliance with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”). As a Data Fiduciary under the DPDP Act, we process personal data of Data Principals in accordance with the following obligations:

  • Lawful basis: We process personal data only for the purposes for which you have given consent, or where we have a legitimate use under the Act (e.g., contractual performance, legal compliance).
  • Rights of Data Principals: Indian users have the right to access personal data held about them, correct inaccurate data, request erasure of data no longer needed, and nominate a representative in the event of incapacity or death.
  • Consent management: Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Withdrawal of consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
  • Cross-border transfers: We transfer personal data to countries as permitted under the DPDP Act and applicable government notifications. Our primary processing infrastructure is located in the Asia-Pacific region.
  • Data Breach notification: In the event of a personal data breach, we will notify affected Data Principals and the Data Protection Board of India as required by law.
